Deny firearms to anyone that has ever used an insanity defense or been institutionalized.
Concealed carry is bullshit and I have yet to see any properly controlled statistics that show it reduces crime.

2. I believe HIPAA gets in the way and NRA is siding with them cause MOAR GUNS NOW! I believe it was the Virgina Tech shooting the guy was seeing a psychologist over some mental issues but HIPAA kept the psych issues from coming up in the background check which they are trying to resolve.
3. Again, NRA clout. In the bay area there was a protest about how restrictive conceal carry is and people were walking around with legal rifles like smaller versions of AR-15's in protest which didn't fall under the conceal/carry laws. Seriously, the NRA is a fucking cult and while I do enjoy shooting (got to do it once with work and had a blast even though I fucking suck) I also believe you don't need a damn AK-47 to go hunting or protect your house.

The reason you guys are talking nonsense is because something wasn't made explicit when this argument began. When this was said:

The court will have to look into whether it's true that these groups are dangerous to national security, but if fundamental rights and suspicious classification is in play, they have to use strict scrutiny, in which case the government would have to pass 3 criteria, among them is the question over whether banning gun rights is the best and least restrictive way of preventing the hate group in question from engaging in violent crime.

What you guys are talking about is what kind of argument the defense of the hate groups would use. You are saying they're free speech is being violated. They can contest that in court, and it is a plausible argument that can activate strict scrutiny if the court thinks it's legitimate. I am telling you guys that free speech argument is the least effective argument the hate groups can make in court in this instance.
