I for some reason can't watch the wire. It took me forever to finish the first episode, and I've still only watched the same first half of the second ep like 3-4 times :/

Only thing I can say about it is that I agree with Callisto. After nearly five years, having someone never speak of or joke about the show in case you come across the post is a bit ridiculous.

Leroy the first season of the wire isn't the greatest. Its slow to start. Plow through the first and second, and by the third the payoff is INCREDIBLE. you just need that two season setup and then s3 is HEAD ASPLODE good.

I honestly find that show mediocre at best. It can be entertaining sometimes but most of the characters are annoying to me.
