    Um so Gantz finally makes sense

    Chapter 369 was out a few days ago, and for once is not senseless violence

    the series really declined after the initial rush of reading over 200 chapters at once. Reading it week to week is really horrible when almost nothing happened in each small chapter. Nice to retrospectively gain some context for what the hell was going on

    Well, Howie... at this point many of them are just reading it because they don't want to leave it unfinished. This arc is NOT what we got into Gantz for and it feels like it has jumped the shark.
    I still kinda like it but not near as much as I did when they were just getting carted off to places and having to fight for their life with little choice in the matter and you never knowing who will live or die, etc etc
    I mean, there's still some of that but it seems a little formulaic now... and actually most of the deaths now have been pretty damn predictable. Like the psychic guy, too much foreshadowing with that. I liked it when someone died and you were like WHAT

    oh, I did not mean to make it sound like Gantz is any good, it's pretty much a hate/hate relationship when it's an improvement that something makes sense after 50+ weeks of reading and waiting
