Aside from grass, I almost feel bad for being this excited. I remember this feeling, and then getting 1.0. But this looks to good to dissapoint.

I was able to a get ifrit weapon, but i'm having a hard time finding a group for anything. I cannot wait for that content finder.

Lol i never understood the rage over jumping. I wish I could jump down those stupid 3ft cliff's in corethas or those stupid fences. Just to give a big fat fuck you to everyone who raged over it, I hope there is a platforming part in a raid where you need to jump or fall to your death in a pool of acid.

One can only hope some ffxi nerd is really dedicated for it (fuck if I know how to code). I know I was always looking for one in WoW and no one ever made one, so I'd think it'd have to be an ff fan that would want to do it. XD

If the interface is truly 100% customizable and not just drag & drop then someone will probably beat me to making it. If they don't I can always give it a shot.

Alpha/Beta doesn't start until after december right, or was it before? If this trend of good news continues I may have to worry about getting in enough study time for my finals.

The UI, graphics, animation, and general feel all seem to be on point. The characters themselves didn't seem to have as much "weight" as they do now and seem to move a bit more freely. From this point on, content is what's gonna make or break it in my book as it seems they already have the building blocks set.

78 responses on whether 2D grass will kill FFXIV, 120 responses on making a limit to jumping, and 27 responses on making a limit on Rokien.

If they put Absolute Virtue in this game I hope either A. He hops around or B. We need to hop around (one of those raid mechanics so you don't wipe).

NPCs in Limsa in Alpha/Beta and I think for a bit after the release referred to the Admiral as a male. (Like masculine pronouns and all) These instances were later corrected when Merlwyb was released, but still.

iirc that sleeker not gigantic Leviathan model was added to the game not long after Yoshida's arrival, while things like the sea serpent, Ifrit, Titan were in the game since launch
