I really hope SE can turn around the internet hate directed toward FFXIV. I currently like XIV enough to play it(comboing BLM spells is fun!), and I would probably be content with playing 2.0 even if it's a flop in the public's eye, but god damnit I want my MMO to be popular. Not necessarily WoW popular, but if I tell people I'm playing FFXIV I'd at least like them to know what it is. I'd like to actually have overpopulated servers instead of every server on the brink of death and server merge a weekly topic.

Slightly unexpected, I guess, but when you have an entire forum community dedicated to the game in question told to go vote on some silly poll (I'm assuming this happened, but I didn't see it), unsurprisingly things get turned on their head.

I'll bet that a fair number of the OF-goers never would have voted if someone hadn't told them to. Offline games don't have such a centralized place for people to go "Hey, go vote in this random poll you didn't know about". I sure as hell don't know what Destructoid is.

I wouldn't mind seeing a live letter featuring some more gameplay, or at least a more involved Q&A. Didn't he even say something about a new live letter soon during one of the interviews?
