Yep, in the last letter.

Once I’m back in Japan, the FINAL FANTASY 25th Anniversary event will be right on the horizon, and we’re also planning another “Letter from the Producer LIVE” event. Good times!

It doesn't explicitly say that the live letter will be during the anniversary event, however, merely that they are planning one.

Comments are hilarious lol. But yeah, PC games typically win PC polls. Especially those that already have an online community begging for attention. I don't think 14 was even included on the IGN gamescom poll.

It wasn't just a PC poll though. Which makes this a bit more bewildering.
Best PC game went to Planetside 2. Black Ops II took console and best of show(lol).

The lol was more for Destructoid than Black Ops. I've never played the CoD games or Battlefield myself. For the sake of not getting off topic...yes, news of the community choice win is excellent for XIV.
