It's funny they did this. We all made fun of the voice over before. Now they will make fun of our own.

The best/worst is how they made the community reps do it. VO is no easy task D: they all sound terrible.

Yeah, there's no way in hell I'll even attempt this. When VO is bad, it's embarrassing for everyone involved... and I know I'm no good at it whatsoever. Props to the community reps for putting themselves out there (though I'm sure they were required to).

My voice is too "cutesy Asian" to do a voice over for anything outside of Nintendogs.

So I'll save myself the embarrassment. However I'll look at everyone's submissions.

I don't get why they always go with a voice over that has a very strong English accent. I think every FFXIV trailer I've seen, even from the 1.0 launch has had that accent.

idk, that's just what they went with, all the voiced cutscenes and yeah trailers are English accent, I'm guessing the whole European fantasy thing, i mean fuck man, they put elves in the woods this time
