    Dust: An Elysian Tale

Anyone else checking this great game out? For 1200 M.Points you get the quality and length of a full priced game. Pretty much one guy did all of the work on this. Fucking amazing job. Part of the XBL games of summer releases.

If you like Hack-n-slash style games with rpg elements, this is definitely for you. Just started it and already in love with it.

What kind of rpg elements? Just a typical level up style or skill point style?

Trying to snag a code from the maker, but if not I plan on buying it tonight when I get home. Can't wait.

That, learning some new skills, a crafting system that seems to have some potential (didn't get access yet to it) and possibly other things as well. I'm only like an hour into it.

Eff the F5ing for a chance at maybe grabbing a code before some other F5er! I just bought it, can't wait to play it. I have avoided pretty much all reviews, since Noogy said that nearly all of them (and a lot of interviews he did also) spoiled the game more than he would have liked. So, pretty excited to check it out with pretty much only the basest of knowledge on most of it. Love the design though, and I know enough (skipped around in the Giantbomb Quick Look) to know it is for me.

The game is pretty much a sidescrolling beat 'em up with some RPG elements. I guess you can call it a Castletroid, since the game doesn't seem to be linear, but I'm not far enough in to tell if this is the case.

The level system gives you a jewel that can be used to raise a stat each time you level up. There is some customization since you can choose which stat you want to raise, but the game prevents you from jacking up one stat to the max and forgetting the rest. Monsters drop gold, armor, and mats which can be used to make new items. I think you need blueprints as well to craft new things, but again not 100% sure yet.

The gameplay and graphics are pretty nice, but I'm really not a fan of the whole furry thing and the main character's sidekick is pretty damn annoying. I picked the game up since Jim Sterling of Destructoid pretty much said this game is amazing. It hasn't been disappointing so far and is well worth the $15 imo.

My girlfriend calls this the Neopets furfag game when I play it.

Also gameplay is kind of boring and repetitive.
