Oh and absolutely don't worry about English commentary, after a while you will start picking up words and in..let's say, 3-4 months you will be able to understand the general idea.

English < - > German already gives you an headstart.

Could even be benefical and a decent start if you are interested in learning the language.

Also Eredivisie (Holland). As Plow stated teams like Ajax are sort of an academy for future stars (They WERE at the level of Barcelona, ManU back in 80s/Early 90s). Dutch league is usually exciting, with a higher goal average than the rest of the europe.

Also seeing Portugese league there. They've got Porto, the merchant of European football who usually buys for 5 and sells for 25 and Benfica/Sporting Lisbon. Again, pretty decent stuff there.
