Goodness, Everton is the team to beat in this Man U / Everton game at the moment. Get your shit together Man U. De Gea is looking far far better (thankfully or it would be 3-0 Everton atm) than he did last season. He really seems to have grown much more confident and that is great for Manchester.

This weekend's games were pretty disappointing I thought. Liked that Newcastle grabbed a win, though, they deserved it. Ba could be right back up there at the top for the Geordies if he keeps it up.

Anyone think there is a chance in hell that Real's offer to Loan Kaka to Man U goes through? I don't, sadly. As much as I think Man U needs a quality midfielder right now, I just don't see them paying the most of the wages. That seems to be what Real is looking for.

Also... dear lord Fellaini is just a pain in the ass isn't he. Tearing Man U to pieces.

I can't believe that Real is offering him tbh... I know he's getting older, but Ronaldo pretty much promised the fans a champions league final this year, so idkwtf...

Also, when are we going to see some RVP???? I know they want to make a big production out of him coming into the game, but fuck.... we want a win goddamnit!!

As much as I hate that that goal just happened, he deserved that goal. He is just destroying Man U. Haha, RVP up off the bench after that. Let's get this hat trick overwith RVP. =)

I think I'm about to go on a rant. See, here's the thing... when you spend 24 fucking million on a striker, and then don't have enough defenders for the opening fucking game of the season and have to move one of your best midfielders back there, and your best ball-control midfielder is 38 fucking years old, and your wingers can't get a fucking cross in to save your life........... and then you don't even start the 24 million dollar striker that somehow scored 37 fucking goals last year on a team that plays, literally fucking plays, for a 0-0 tie every god damn game (or so it would appear)........................................... ..........

    you're going to lose.

just came on to say the same, only good midfielder in defense, the only other one even worth a look in is ancient, and barely escapes a red card every game.

good weekend for a chelsea fan, im sure arsenal fans will be pleased that rvp hardly got a touch

Man U crossed the ball 34 times against Everton to RVP/Welbeck/Rooney, none of which are good at headers. Everton may have laid out the blueprint for teams on how to beat United this season, especially when both RVP and Rooney are playing - crowd the center and force the ball wide because when they play multiple strikers without Chicharito or Berbatov as one of them they don't have an aerial threat. Good win for Everton and well-deserved.

Disappointing weekend? Southampton nearly beat City at Eastlands, Hazard and Oscar look the real deal at Chelsea, Fulham win 5-0 with no Clint Dempsey, Swansea win 5-0 with no Brendan Rodgers. And Rodgers' Liverpool were taken apart by little old West Brom.

Fantastic display by Everton and Kagawa looks good. Both Manchester clubs need to improve their defence to progress in Europe though.

Sorry I guess I really shouldn't have said it was a disappointing weekend, overall it clearly wasn't. I was disappointed with the few games I was able to watch is all. So ignore that.

Kagawa looked great, I don't think he had a bad touch on the ball. He alone though, sadly, couldn't do much for the rest of them. Happy to see Vidic back, but I agree they really let a lot past them. At least Man City was able to come back and win, Manchester looked like they did at the end of last season. No fire, no drive, just a few near lucky counters and then a whole lot of just... meh. I do think you are right though Volcanic. This is how you just shut them down. Luckily there aren't Fellaini's on every other team, in full beast mode, always.

As usual, Barcelona trails for 80 mins, Messi shows up for 5 mins and turns it around, then Barca defends their asses off until the end.

    Fuck them.

Real Madrid vs. Manchester City about to start. Hoping that it's a good game, but playing in Madrid, so City might get killed.
