I'm interested to see the reffing choices from here out, it sounds like the thing about guys from the same confed Herrerrererererererarara said actually gained some traction among other coaches, which is kind of surprising.

I'd have an awfully hard time picturing someone saying Proenca was biased by confederation if Mexico had been playing Spain lol...

Van Den Borre is definetely out; Kompany & Vermaelen are uncertain, Ciman has recovered from what I hear.
In fact, Ciman might be playing. Of the 8 defenders we brought to the WC, he's probably the worst, but with 3 wounded, Wilmots is left with little choice.
He could field Vertonghen on the left, Alderweireld on the right, Van Buyten & Lombaerts center, but he'll probably opt for Ciman left, Alderweireld right, Van Buyten & Vertonghen center.

At any rate, this is a problem. If it goes on like this, we'll have to use midfielders in defensive positions. Might be manageable against the US, but it won't be against Argentina.

0-0 at halftime, let's hope Nigeria will be the team to knock the french out of the tournament. Though, as usual, the french have a favourable referee. Clear penalty refused for Nigeria already.
