WOW was this not posted? i avoided the thread for the last week or so but when i reskimmed last night i didnt see it. This is fucking HILARIOUS INCREDIBLE

Caught the 8pm showing last night, shit was amazing. I always love the "crowd participation" opening nights, kids around us were losing their shit and... so was I, lol.

it was pretty good, plot was kinda meh but most of the one liners landed and the action was fine. not to get all macross here, but there was one scene where i was 100% positive elizabeth olson's tit was gonna pop out of her shirt and was surprised it didn't.

also think jeremy renner keeps getting miscast as action heroes, he was great in completely different roles (louie, american hustle), but because he's got a square jaw and is buff he's automatically gotta punch stuff (that said, he was good in this but mostly because his character actually got to do stuff other than shoot arrows or get mind controlled)

I wish he was a little bit more like Hawkeye in Marvel's Avengers Assemble Cartoon. Clint was always a guy with sense of humor, not Iron Man.

Loved the movie, theater I saw it in wasn't as packed as when I saw Avengers so the atmosphere was a bit of a let down but man did the movie deliver. The pacing was super fast so some of the parts where it slowed down kind of seemed awkward, and obviously it didn't have the glimmer to it the original had because of "holy fuck they actually accomplished this??" feel. Though watching Avengers now and then this last night, this is the better movie in pretty much every way. Spader is a boss, just amazing. Also Dr. Cho and Scarlet Witch were smoking.

Just got back from seeing this. Great action and humor. Movie did feel a bit rushed towards the end, so I can't wait for the bluray.

the Natasha/Banner thing felt unnecessary, and their screentime could've been used on something better.

Vision was really underused, but I guess they're saving him for Infinity Wars.

I was confused during the Thor lake scene. Maybe something of significance from the comics?

New female Iron Man AI was also a comic nod?

Blind Heimdal was creepy.

Glad to hear Quicksilver isn't dead. He wasn't OP like DoFP Quicksilver, but I'd like to see more of him. Maybe on Agents of Shield, like how they revived Coulson?

Spader knocked it out of the park as Ultron. Glad they kept the robot style voice. We saw the RTX version at Regal, and the picture blacked out a couple of times during the film's climax. Thought people were gonna riot. Got free passes as a result, which I'll be saving for Ant Man.

I don't see it as him turning heel, just that there's gonna be consequences for all the trouble he got everyone in to by continuing the Ultron project. Also, the panic and destruction that was caused as a result. Cap will side with the govt, since you could tell he wasn't too thrilled either. Stark isn't the kind of guy who answers to anyone, especially the govt. Stark basically telling them to fuck off in IM2 comes to mind. So there's your setup for Civil War right there.

Man, Hawkeye fucking killed the movie with awesome at least 5 times over (Vision picked up what was left).

And he's a family man, so you know Guile is proud somewhere, shedding a tear and shit.

Spader was great as Ultron too, but he just didn't feel as threatening as Loki/Chitauri.

In fact, I couldn't hate Ultron at all, he just had a flawed thought process which was an extension of Iron Man's thought process. It's hard to see him as a bad guy in that light and even harder to portray.

Movie was good but nowhere near the first one. There was a hell of a lot more applause for the SW trailer than at the credits lol.
