Really enjoyed it, but you really notice all the editing for time. Lots of scenes felt unmotivated and there was a lot of jumping around.

Still will see it a few more times before DVD though. Dat scarlet witch.

I really enjoyed it, but my experience was somewhat hurt by the worst mother ever bringing her toddler to the theater with her, and of course they had to sit next to me. The little shit screamed quite a lot and even kicked me. It took everything I had not to go ham on that bitch.

One thing I really didn't get about Tony:
    Spoiler: show
At the end of IM3, Tony blows up his army of AI suits and rides off into the sunset deciding not to be Iron Man anymore...and now he has a NEW army of AI suits and is gung-ho Iron Man again? I suppose it could be implied that the events of Cap 2 forced his hand, but they could have at least included a few lines of dialogue about it.

Tony didn't decide to "Not be Iron Man" at the end of IM3, but rather that HE was Iron Man, even without the suit. In IM3, Tony created all those suits to try and deal with the stress and issues he was having as a result of the end of the Avengers. In essence those suits were a physical representation of all his fears and neurosis from that near death alien invasion, and to deal with his issues Tony tried to create the perfect suit to deal any situation. When he was stranded and alone, he was forced to rely on nothing but himself and his intellect to get him through life threatening situations, ultimately highlighting that *he* was the driving power behind the suits and that it was just the suit that made him a hero. His destruction of all the other suits was his way of showing that he got over his issues and that he could move on by himself from that point on.

Again, at no point did Tony decide to stop being Ironman, but rather he realized that Iron Man is nothing without Tony Stark.

Movie was awesome, and I think it was just as good as the first. The first gets so much love IMO because it's like "Omg they're all together for the first time, awesome!" and here, they've been together for a while. I loved all the teamwork stuff between them, though. Shit was awesome, and unf, all the action sequences were sexy. Imax was great too. I sat next to a girl who was pretty fine too, but sadly her experience got fucked a bit when this mom and her son spilled a drink on her back. That shit sucked for her.

Quicksilver grabbing Thor's hammer man... I almost fell out of my seat.

Also, I was on the "oh shit they are gonna kill Hawkeye" train even though I know he was announced to have a big role in Civil War.

Also "good talk. no it wasn't"

    So I'm a little irritated...

Went to a Regal theater (will never go again), and just when the previews are set to start the system crashes. Like, not even joking, an error message comes up and the projector is literally asking to be restarted. It took them 10 minutes to even realize there was a problem (I didn't know we were responsible for telling them their shit is fucked up), and once they did they jumped straight to the movie and skipped all the previews, so that happened. To make matters worse, the movie only played on 3/4 of the screen; and not once did they try to fix it.

I sent a scathing email to corporate hoping they respond; I'll never get my Avengers 2 premiere back again T_T.

That Quicksilver grab was mad hilarious doe. I'm like "dis nigga not worthy," then having a hearty chuckle as he flew sideways.

Speaking of that, it was interesting how Joss Whedon leaves a lot of bits in the movie explaining the science behind Mjolnir and how it defies scientific logic with it's "worthiness."

Did anyone else feel like there were too many jokes written in? It's like every other line was an attempt at comic relief. The movie was ok. Pretty eye rolling when they are all "have to save every civilian life" when it's quite clear that there could/should have been casualties from all the collateral damage and the sheer numbers of the robotic drones.

Vision creating a cape after observing Thor and then giving him his hammer was hilarious.

I left feeling the same. They tried to shove comedy down from the very beginning, and most of it wasn't funny at all. It was actually mostly pretty lame. The saving people left and right was also ridiculously stupid.

Absolutely loved this movie. Saw it in the RPX 3D and regret nothing. Loved the running language joke on Captain America. They really need to do a solo Hawkeye movie. Jeremy Renner just killed it for that role.

I can't help but think that the whole "try and save everyone" bit was pushed after all the critique of the Superman movie where Metropolis was destroyed and people were dying everywhere. Along the lines of "well, DC kind of fucked up, let's try to show them how it's done" sort of thing.

I enjoyed the movie overall quite a bit. Ultron felt a little too "villain of the week" for me, but considering the first Avengers had Loki as the main baddie and he'd been built up already, and the next movie is most likely going to be around Thanos, and he's being hyped up for a while now, I guess it's kind of understandable when Ultron didn't really have as much build up. I suppose you could argue his creation stemmed from IM3 which stemmed from the first Avengers.

Ultron's personality was also a little too jarring for me. Not his "death and destruction" stuff, but his "I don't want to be alone, don't leave me" bits. Was that something that was prevalent in the comics? It just threw me off how needy he was at times lol

Other than that though, I liked everything else. Hawkeye was great, I liked his random family quite a bit and it really helped push his "fatherly" wisdom/role. I also liked the comedy quite a bit too, so to each their own. I actually kind of loved how they solved the whole "is Vision good?" bit with him picking up the hammer. They could have easily done another hour of the movie just trying to find a situation where he had to prove himself, but just that simple act saved them so much hassle lol

The whole Black Widow/Hulk thing was kind of weird for me, but that's probably 100% due to a particular gif that's been floating around for a while now lol

I really like how Vision was done and dislike how Ultron was done. I don't understand why they felt they needed to humanize him.
