He managed all of Phase 2 because they had to make sure that as an entire set it could all mesh into Age of Ultron. The Russo Brothers will probably do the same with Phase 3 to make sure Infinity Wars works.
It wouldn't even be too hard to explain. Fury could say that Loki has crap aim. Missed Coulson's heart and explain about the needed push.
Might be better saved for Infinity War anyway, when they discover the Kree. Then Fury can explain TAHITI in detail.
Just came back with some friends from our first IMAX 3D experience. Haven't felt like that since I was a kid. Even having seen the Star Wars trailer multiple times by now, seeing it in IMAX 3D hit me right in the feels. Just wow.

Yeah that whole scene was weird. Tony designed Ultron, but the capabilities for advanced a.I. was in the mind gem? Idk, kinda confused with this origin.
He copied the patterns from the gem and integrated his Ultron AI with it.

In a lot of ways, this movie felt like a progression-opposite if the first Avengers. In Avengers 1, everyone was already known, it was getting them together and going. This movie was introducing a TON of new people, and it felt like it had minimal progression of the familiar/main cast, excluding Widow/Hawkeye.
As an introduction movie, it was fine. It wasn't what I was expecting/hoping for-- I avoid spoilers/reviews for movies like the plague-- and so I was kind of left disappointed. I laughed a lot, but I only laughed hard a couple times-- nothing to compare to Hulk bro-punching or Loki-smashing.
I dunno. I liked it, I'll buy it when it's on disc, and I'll watch it sometime in the context of the whole-MCU as part of a marathon or the like. But the first was just so much better constructed for me, with far fewer "I really have to suspend knowledge of reality/comics" for it to work for me.
It falls solidly behind Avengers 1, Iron Man 1/2, GotG, and Captain America 1/2, but ahead of both Thors and Iron Man 3 for me.
The gem having sentience confused you? They touched on that in Thor AND the first Avengers.
Not to mention the gems ARE sentient. They can also talk to each other.
You must not be well-versed in neuroscience.
who the fuck is
Lets argue about science in a tale of fiction.
Well fuck, I'm just trying to explain that AI isn't really too different from sentience.
And I'm just saying, pushing it as "Oh, hey. This Infinity Gem is just a computer" instead of "Oh, hey. We can use this Infinity Gem to grant sentience to a defense program we're working on" felt really, really awkward to me, and diminished the mystic quality of the gem. In a universe that's going to have Dr. Strange, that feels like a super weird choice to make.
