Diver, who helped rescue the kids in Thailand, was criticized by Elon in a tweet and called a "Pedo" because he said Elons child torpedo was nothing but a PR stunt, and is considering sueing Elon for defamation.

There are extra details about the mission in the article too, like how the kids were sedated to make the trip easier. I want more details on that cause a sedated child diving for over 5 hours seems crazy to me, but less so than stuffing them into a torpedo and jamming it through some narrow crevacies. There are other details too, like how the Australians were given diplomatic immunity in case something went wrong down there. The mission commander also said Elons vehicle "doesn't fit with their mission". Can't wait to see these parts in the movie lol.

In the movie Elon will definitely be portrayed as a super villain trying to force the submarine on these brave divers despite how unsafe it is. The climax will be when he is punched out by the diver he forced into it, who then escapes the sub and swims to freedom, final rescued child in tow, before it explodes with Elon on board.

I was convinced to be on this side, but then Elon went and did so much blow that he called one of the divers who rescued these kids a pedo. And then he doubled down on it afterwards lol.

Personal anecdote: When I worked abroad, we met at least one likely "perpetual sex tourist"-type expat, and yes he always went back to Thailand. Musk doesn't need to be ugly and abrasive. And yet it's just part of who he is and how he presents himself.

Again ideally, he'd be above petty angst and present himself more graciously and confidently, with a more acute appreciation of others' understandings -- and then presumably be eagerly back to work on any of a multitude of developments.

Elon Musk's "Bruce Wayne" persona has always been a scam to get more funding and I don't mind seeing him get shit on when he fails to meet the expectations that he cultivated.

It's enjoyable to watch too since I have no personal stake in it either way. While I understand the logical basis of a short, emotionally it seems bad to bet against a company failing.
