Apparently the reason why the window cracked was because they were testing it the night before and they threw the ball at it 5 times and had possible micro fractures. One of the engineers supposedly asked them not to throw the ball at it during the presentation as well but we all know how that went. Also they had a spare window on hand that they could've replaced before the demonstration but they chose not to.

This is what happens when SE (it's the whole team, but SE always gets fucked) deosn't fulfill their list of deliverables. Couple of months ago my EE subdivision did not meet one of the navigation deliverables for a uuv, and they got grilled, on stage. We just got a slap on the wrist. Tis pretty common, just happens to be my boi Elon.
It's worse when a 100M satellite just burns in the atmosphere bc a 30 cent bulb failed (they didn't wanna spend $5 bucks on said bulb).

Remember that at a minimum the Cybertruck design will have to add side mirrors and proper headlights, the one they displayed isn't street legal.
