well i said 2 min lmao
Driving an EV does have it's pros and cons depending on how you look at it. If you can charge at home and you drive less than 250 miles a day, then it makes sense because you basically plug in at night (takes 15 seconds to do) and you wake up with a full charge. ICE cars can't do that unless you have a gas station in your garage. The downside is road trips if you don't like stopping every 200-250 miles for 15-20 minutes. Most people I've talked to don't mind because they have kids and have to deal with bathroom breaks and food stops, and most charging infrastructure is built near or at these types of locations.
i was mostly being flippant and silly, i wouldnt mind getting an EV in the future if the price is ever affordable (to me) , some car guys i know dont speak too highly of Tesla craftsmanship but I dont know if that is just combustion propaganda or what. The video of the bumper falling off seems like they may have a point though lol.
Not going to lie yes there are some QA issues that mostly seem to be sorted when it comes to the Model 3. Most of them were panel alignment issues and it got to the point where users were posting their own checklist for new owners to use while doing a visual inspection at delivery.
I’m debating a Tesla as my next vehicle when the models aren’t so hideous. Would be super convenient on my 5-10 minute commute to the train station for work.
Probably wouldn’t have to recharge it for months at a time.
Vampire drain exists and it can be as little as 3mi/day to a more aggressive 15 mi/day depending on if you have 3rd party apps connected to it. A lot of people like to use TeslaFi to connect to their car cause it gives them a ton of data/stats but I had issues with it in the past not allowing the car go into a deep enough sleep that I was losing more miles from drain. I haven't used it in over a year so they may have enhanced it since then.
Shattered Pixel Dungeon loses replayability for me once you've beaten it on all 4 jobs.

I'm really upset I lost my legend of dragoon save and I don't know how to import one off the internet onto my phone to continue.
wonder if you can get steam games on that tesla and use a control pad or something? cause binding of isaac: rebirth has got 440 hours of playtime with me from trying to get all the achievements on that thing, and i still got 69 of them to go... and there's another expansion coming out with god knows how many more to get. it's going to be a big one though. XD
Been playing Civ2 for a long time, I replay FF1 and FFT and DQ1 regularly, don't play a lot of fast twitch stuff because of the keypad but play the first 3 Zeldas (and the weird unreleased ones) sometimes. Valkyria Chronicles 3 for Vita (on PPSSPP) is good.
Shining Force 1 and 2 would be good picks. Phantasy Star 4. Breath of Fire 1 & 2, Chrono Trigger, Lufia 1 & 2.
Tesla's already support USB controllers for the in car games. As far as other games, they like to have a closed ecosystem and bake games into car firmware updates. There is only so much storage space they can allocate, but they could just allow some type of storage management to download/remove games on the fly thru the infotainment screen and add steam and select games that don't take up a lot of space. Of course there would be some licensing issues like when Tesla wanted Mario Kart, but Nintendo wouldn't license the game out so they settled on Beach Buggy 2.
Tesla earnings call happened today and they were profitable for Q2 meaning S&P inclusion could happen now. Also Gigafactory will be built in Texas to build the CyberTrucks
Also Elon unlocked his second compensation tranche, worth 2.1B at the current stock price, for having the company average over 150B in market cap over the past 6 months. If the stock remains flat for the next 6 months (less actually) he'll unlock the 3rd and 4th tranches and be close to the 5th.
The amount of stock compensation here is unprecedented.
