stupid people absolutely attend Stanford. if you have blue blood connections, donatable wealth, or sufficient athletic talent you can drink your way through any university in the country on that glorious 2.5 average

that said, Elon is obviously not stupid, tho his great talents are programming, CEOing, and entrepreneurial vision, and not the feats of engineering for which he receives undeserved credit these days. the man has serious personality issues, likely does have Asperger's / is on the spectrum, but he is clearly, comfortably and easily, far above the mean for intelligence. isn't nonpareil as he pretends, more a Steve Jobs than a Wozniak nonetheless a Turing, but then who is.

Yea, after some of the shit Tesla has pulled with reselling, i'm not buying shit from them. This new faze of being able to take away features retroactively is fucking dumb.

The Performance Model 3 will be excluded because its base MSRP is around $2K over the $55K threshold. Tesla could skirt this by lowering the MSRP by $2k and cap the 0-60 to 3.5 or something and then offer a post sale software unlock. I think they did something similar in Canada but I can't remember. Also the way it is written in the bill seems to allude to a point of sale credit so it is applied to the purchase price instead of a tax credit at the end of the year. If Tesla can squeeze in the Performance Model 3 to be a part of this should it pass, then I am definitely selling my LR Model 3 and getting a 2022 Performance Model 3.

He shouldn't have accepted it, so that's on him. I've seen far worse on Model 3's when they first came out which is why I advise people to wait a full year on any new Tesla model that comes out for them to iron out production issues.

The biggest complain from most of us is FSD because when you sell a car with FSD back to Tesla, they don't include the price paid for FSD. Most if not all of us want FSD tied to the Tesla account or at least a courtesy one time transfer when trading up to a newer vehicle. Selling private party is usually the best way to go when selling a Tesla because because of this.

Yeah those rough Model 3s were the reason I stopped looking at them for the time being. Eventually want to get rid of this 370z but I can wait.
