Tesla produces ~75% of the EVs sold in America. SpaceX provides, by far, the lowest cost to orbit of any launch provider.

Tesla survived off of 5 billion in government cheese (loans, tax credits, tax breaks, contracts, subsidies) by 2015. For comparison their total combined revenue from each year by that point was about 10.1B. Musk's companies continues to get cheese while he tweets against it.

I meant dependency in the case of Tesla itself, and not spaceflight.
