    Motionjoy and DS3 Bluetooth

I've been playing Ys Oath in Felghana with a wireless Logitech gamepad, while it works well, it uses AA batteries and its kind of heavy, plus DS3 is more comfortable, I bought a BT dongle so I could use a DS3 via MotionJoy to play.

Everything works well, except that sometimes the DS3 just decides to stop responding at random, which is very annoying, I have to alt-tab, hit disconnect and pair it up again to make it work again, it can happen in less than 10 minutes or more than an hour, it's totally random, I haven't tried hooking it up via USB because I don't want to have a cable across the room.

Anyone knows if there's a fix for this? I tried their forums, but it's overrun by spam bots...

Sounds odd. I played xenoblade the same way and did not run into any of these issues. Sounds like the PC is dropping the bluetooth signal, or the controller is. If the controller does not have issues with the PS3, then it is the computer causing the issues. You could also have a faulty bluetooth dongle as many of the cheap ones from china can overheat.

Having to manually disconnect it sounds nothing like that.

Motionjoy is the worst software to have ever existed that still technically accomplishes what it's meant to do. Expect constant problems from it.

There's nothing that indicates that the PC is dropping the signal, the LEDs on the controller says it's paired to something and the controller works fine, I use it for the PS3.

It's a shame if there's no fix, it would be perfectly fine if it wasn't for that :/

Get rechargeable batteries. At what distance is your controller from your dongle? I play with a wireless controller and i'm thinking of switching to wired. Sometimes it kinda looses signal if its not close enough. Also battery life can effect sensitivity I notice when I switch batteries playing bf3.

I'm at about 2-2.5 meters. the dongle is in the back of the tower though, I changed it to the front and played for about an hour without issue (after having to reinstall the drivers because Motionjoy is a cluster fuck and wouldn't detect the dongle) but I've played for an hour without issues before, I'll have to test it more and see if it makes any difference.
