Except the part that you're ignoring that says from base and said later on in the post to stack both. What's asinine is your tone. Christ sakes reading comprehension is hard

You have a gigantic attitude problem and every single time you post you come off as "IM BETTER THAN YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME". I'm done ever reading anything you ever post, I'm pretty sure most people will ignore you too.
Come back when you can have a civil discussion and not act like a child.

Except its still wrong, FROM BASE. And looking over your numbers, using the wikis base HP figure of 15082 for the mid tier professions, you didn't even calculate correctly. 15082 -> 16082 is not +6.22%. Its +6.63%. You calculated backwards, using the larger figure as the 'base' and flipped the sign. 15082 is -6.22% of 16082. 16082 is +6.63% of 15082. Can't be fucked to correct this any further since the post is worse off than I originally thought.
Wahhhh someone being mean about false information and math fails. On the internet.
Shocking. I know.
I swear, I've met a lot of obnoxious, egotistical fucks on this forum, but you honestly take the cake. Congratulations on your prize.
Oh no, I used the wrong number in a post where I'd been tired as fuck while creating it, the world is ending because a few tenths of a decimal changes the information by a staggering amount!
19372/18372 = 1.054430655...
= +5.44%
100 * 1.0544 = 105.44
16082/15082 = 1.066304203...
= +6.63%
100 * 1.0663 = 106.63
11805/10805 = 1.09254974...
= +9.25%
100 * 1.0925 = 109.25
If anything this increases the relevance of my stance. From base HP, Vitality is still superior to Toughness for X amount, based on class, and using both Vitality and Toughness is ideal. You're wrong. Get over it.
Lol, y'all should read some of his helpful posts in the XIV section, lulz. Im definetly not defending the pile that has been XIV, but celeras you really are kind of a douche. Like, I never see you post happy thoughts or silly posts, you always seem to post negativity. Shit gets old man.
(Not saying don't post how you feel, but if you "feel" like that all the time, something is wrong.)
Never denied it, truth bombs all day. Math fails specifically make me all kinds of mayad, especially when theyre in massive TLDR posts that draw incorrect conclusions. Like I said, I'm letting it go. Point was made, and there's no reason to bang my chest against someone who finds fucking percentages to be a tricky concept.
At least I'm not having difficulty understanding simple bits of the English language or simple proofs of concept.
Failure to acknowledge that a 10k HP Guardian or Elementalist or a 15k HP ranger, engineer, etc. serves to gain less from 100Vitality than 100Toughness, moreso the Guardian or Elementalist, and then switching to Toughness after the Vitality becomes less effective is outright ignorance.
Also, bowing out of a debate with a final shitfling is one of the most transparent forms of argument imaginable, so grats on that.
Have a friend that just picked up the game and is looking for some pve thf builds. He's hit a bit of a rut around lvl 60 and is dying too quickly so needs to rethink his builds/traits. Unsure what he's currently running, just fter some advice for him.

Use haste every time it's up and make sure he has full initiative, then spam pistol whip x2-3. Basically autoattack and pistol whip spam everything, pistol whip makes you immune to damage while using it and signet of malice provides TONS of healing off of it. Swords autoattack is great as well, use headshot to interrupt nasty attacks. Just spam skale venom every time it's up as well, free weakness/vuln stacks and might.
Make sure he's using knight's armor/valk accessories and not pure beserkers gear. He's probably dying a lot if he's ignoring all defensive stats entirely.
Very easy to use build and very effective for leveling. It's what I used, I had to swap to hide in shadows once I got to orr though because of infinite poison T_T
What are the best runes to use as a thief, i'm unsure which way to go offensive or defensively.
Current stats are:
1.9k power
1.1k toughness
1.3k vitality
1.4k precision
2.9k attack
27% crit
2.2k armor
Currently using sword/pistol mh shortbow offhand and its mainly used for dungeons and wvw.
1.1k toughness? Wtf... That's waaaay too low, fix your toughness. Even with full toughness runes (+165) that's still too low. x6 ruby is probably the best for sword/pistol, or x6 divinity but that's like 12g and all you lose damage/crit for hp/toughness/healing.
I dunno, every bandwagon thief swears by the stupid glass cannon spec and most of them have sub 1k toughness.
I personally can't stand that spec and prefer a balanced one with about 1500 toughness, but i don't like having to rely on abusing stealth with the culling issues in WvW.
What ever works for you though.
Glass cannon thf is worthless outside of SPVP for everything, and will continue to be nerfed until morons stop speccing it.Every forum I go to for specs for every class has 999 glass cannon specs, i've even seen "GLASS CANNON GUARDIAN" lol..
I can still kill people extremely quick with my balanced builds so w/e.

Is this guardian spec good?
Don't let Anet see that build or they might nerf us.
I dont see anything :/
