GW2 Random Class Discussion: Shiyo Knows Best edition

I am desperately looking for a couple of builds.

I have my level 80 elementalist that is currently using full Nightmare Court (Precision/Toughness/Condition) and have a nice spec that I enjoy that is based on Bleed and Burn damage. I recently earned enough CoE tokens to pick up that set that is (Power/Precision/Crit%). I am looking for a decent build that would use this set.

I have my level 80 warrior and am looking for a setup that would use Sword/Board + Hammer. I love these weapons but honestly, I have not been able to come up with a setup other than the base Vigorous Shouts build. I'd love to see something that is a lot more focused on being supportive/durable while doing decent damage.

I will soon have a level 80 Mesmer. I really want a good pure damage build.

I got raped today by a Warrior using Rifle and Hammer, stunned me over and over again, to the point that there was not enough stun breaks in the world to save my ass. Anybody got any idea what kinda setup that would use? I know at least one of his utility skills was "Fear Me!".

Any idea if axe is usable for necromancer yet? I like staff and all, but I'd like to be able to use something else occasionally.

Make sure you continually swap weapons when in combat for the superior battle sigil bonus. You'd have to have doubles of both weapons for this to be viable.

I think you would probably be insane not to use Well(s) as a power Necro to be honest, I'd take those over the Signet and Might corruption any day of the week and with how little conditions that setup has there's not much reason for epidemic either. Personally I run Well of Suffering and Well of Corruption almost full time with third slot changing randomly. More often than not I just use Spectral Walk for the ridiculous swiftness and stun break (which Necro is seriously lacking, Fear can't always save you unfortunately...) but depending on the situation you can always swap it for something more useful. The 2 Wells both supply decent aoe damage and a Dark combo field, which is nice in parties for applying blinds and life steal. And I'm sure you weren't really fretting over the weapon choices in that link but there's absolutely no reason to do A/D in both slots, better to throw on a Focus for the second setup since you'll constantly be swapping for sigil procs anyway.

He wanted an axe build, I made one built around might and vulnerability. Seemed to make sense. I picked dagger as an added condition removal since the Blood is Power self bleed is actually pretty powerful.

Yeah /dagger is great, but you had it set on both equipment slots when the CDs are long enough to allow you to use both weapons and constantly switch between them before the CDs have even expired. In that sense there's literally 0 reason to do A/D in both slots. Better to do A/D in one and A/F in the other.

I suppose you could. I was just being lazy tbh and wanted the focal point more around keeping sigil of battle up than the actual weapon swap itself.

Either way, I appreciate it. I'm sure I'll wind up cannibalizing it and moving things around to suit me regardless, but having an approach to start from is great.

Considering I'm almost exclusively looking for a PvE build, I'm not exactly worried about parsing data or siege survivability. I just want to have fun without being ridiculously pissed off by broken skills and traits, which means being slightly more careful than with my main, warrior.

There's more game breaking bugs on mesmer than necro.

Dodge roll clone trait not working when you're in a forced costume like AC ghost or charr in fractals.

Honestly I've come across 0 bugs on my Necro (which is 80, might I add), I must have just picked the only build that works because the whining I see from most other Necros is insane. I think they're just punishing the players who spec badly and trying to tell them to change their ways.
