My friend goes to school right across from there, and they have the whole place on lockdown. He can't leave or anything. He said the shooter's brains are all over the sidewalk. @.@;

He wasn't shot in the head. He shot his ex-employer, killed him, and then NYPD shot him -- but in the "crossfire" 9 civilians were wounded. (NYPD shot 9 civilians trying to kill the gunman.) The gunman's shot was clean, the NYPD need some serious target practice asap.

NYPD I would trust them with my life. Can't say that about any other cops.

2 cops shot 16 bullets. 3 bystanders shot directly, 6 hit by fragments. Not sure how many hit the target, but that's not super accuracy.

There was a small blurb on LawOfficer that said the officers scored 11 hits including two head shots. Most of the wounded were from debris and fragments from exit wounds.

Kinda hard to look out for innocents when something like that happens, though. Then again, I would have never confronted him till he was out of the line of fire from a bunch of other people. If he's not actively shooting or still killing, the usual standard is to follow him till he's away from people then try a confrontation. Hell one of the officers didn't even have his gun out. His partner (the one in the back) was smart and at least had his out but no kind of stance or ready position whatsoever. Guy whips the gun outta the briefcase and opens up before the guy in front even drew out. He's lucky as shit he isn't dead. Sloppy sloppy sloppy tactics. Could have went a lot worse than it did. Thank god they were able to kill the guy before he did anything else.
