You can get a bunch of exp just by doing the starter towns + Jeuno. I personally haven't touched a 25-35 zone yet and I'm level 34. Mostly just done the newbie zones.

Exactly, Kat and I have finished Caledon and Queensdale + story to 16 and we are 20-21. You get a lot of xp from completing the zone and some good completion loot. Mind you, you get "level appropriate" items so it could be worthwhile to not complete the zone tile later.

With my WvW-centric "im bored" warrior, I am 17. Done about half of Queensdale while waiting for queues, but most all of my real xp has been from defending. Crystal Desert has only lost once so far that I have seen and that was to Ruin/The Towelliee Zergfest of Northern Shiverpeaks. WvW = A LOT of xp

Escort the supply caravans to the destination (helps to have movement enhancing spells) and you'll get 500+ xp per gold medal. Takes about 3min each run

So anybody got any super secret cash making tips? I didn't realize I was betting 50 silver for every cow being launched in Diessa Plateau. I went through 1.5 gold and now I got no money.

Rhyis tip of the day: Don't bet on flying cows regardless of how hilarious it is.


edit: spammed the same level 33 centaur event over and over for 2 hours and got my cash back.

I've probably put 30+ hours in so far and am only 25% on one character. So I'd say from a pure money:time ratio, you're easily looking at cents per hour for a nice chunk of time.

I'm kinda torn on skills, though. I've seen some like axe on warrior, but it feels weaker than greatsword for me even though GS as 2 so-so skills. Hundred Blades is just that good. And while I have all skills in other weapons, they've mostly seemed meh except for having a gun handy for those champs/bosses that absolutely annihilate melees with no warning whatsoever. Maybe this is something Anet will look into in future updates, but for now, I guess variety is kinda so-so with not many of the skills appealing, either.

Messing with things, I think axe/axe is the best aoe dps, and greatsword is the best single target.

I've been sticking almost exclusively to sword/axe rifle since level 15 or so, and it's my prefered method. Keep in mind that I have a rifle with a corruption sigil, so I stack that up to 20 and my bleeds are flabberghasting. Axe/axe has its appeal, for sure, as does axe/mace, but I'm still pretty happy with sword/axe.

Level 25, mostly been doing starter zones and generally screwing around. Trying to get all the jumping puzzles done. Farming the maguuma wurm, shadow behemoth, and dragon shaman (no idea what the charr/asura equivalents are, unless it's that stupid fire elemental everyone talks about) for random greens. Gambling the ones I don't care about (I have plenty of force and agony sigils kthx) for hilarious results.

Haven't stepped foot into a 15-25 zone yet, though I'm rushing through skillpoints in lower zones now so I can move on for now. The XP is still good, but the money rewards for DE/Hearts aren't very good compared to what I'll need as I go on. I'm super chill not in a rush though, so whichever.

Want an easy AC run?

Take a sword and board guardian and a fully talented support engineer. Makes a WORLD of difference, especially for the second boss(s) have the guardian tank the male away from her whilst engineer keeps her up and gives her boons whilst everyone else just throw themselves at Reena.

So like, is anybody elses server getting completely embarrassed in RvR? My server and another server both have around 40k points. The other server has 160k and basically controls everything lol.

Is there a better way to get jute/wool/cotton than random salvages and material bags because that's what I never have enough of.

Same with higher level leather. I basically re-roll another character whenever I run out of materials, lol.

re-roll > 100% zone completion > get 40 of x material > way too much time invested for 40 of one material so profit is minimal? XD
