If you mean the lag between pressing the button and seeing it happen, yes.

Ended up in 2 v 4 somehow, obviously got rolled but why can this even happen. I get auto-balanced to lose, but not auto-balance to well.... balance.

They are using the FPS style gameplay system for pug sPvP. It definitely has its good points but it has many more drawbacks for MMO style gameplay. Its awfully fun, but because of the rotating nature of the system, games are often won/lost early on when the teams are not matched properly. I would rather have seen a traditional queue system where you queued and got a full match at the start each time.

I did rank 1 -> 6 yesterday and only had one game where it was really decided on early, I don't think it's too bad at all. Also depends on the map, it's pretty easy to stage a comeback out of nowhere on that one with the 2 bosses since you can get 50 points for killing them both. IDK how much killing the Red/Blue Lord on the other stage gives but that might be an option too.

World v World is fucking fun.

Rolling in with a crew on Yak's Bend (we seem to dominate Anvil Rock and some other server) -> lose Greenbriar? Fuck that shit -> Steamroll through a bunch of people -> They retreat in to the water -> Wipe them out in the water like a boss. -> Get killed by the sharks (fuck that)

The most fun I've had tonight in a while. I kind of want to level alts exclusively in WvW.

After logging off tonight, I thought about SWTOR and Illum, then I laughed for about 5 minutes straight.

That was my exact thoughts as well, i said to myself "feels like ilum". but you know, its more fun than standing outside the imperial/republic zones and getting pulled into canon fire.

AH came online for 2 minutes, bought a chest piece and it went down. Mail still doesn't work and with no trade this is becoming very very lame, I can't give my gf any of the greens I found and vice versa. I'm always low on money (probably shouldn't have crafted) so I just vendor all my shit, would like to sell it but can't.

I love WvW and I usually do it when I only have 1-2hrs to play. Learned, that it can be very entertaining to be the underdog in WvW too. I switched to Whiteside Ridge because Far Shiverpeaks is always full and you have to wait from 30min to anywhere to get into any WvW map.

So I open the WvW map on WR and we're up against Far Shiverpeaks or rather, totally getting destroyed by it. FS 350k points, us 25k points and 3rd server 22k points. Went into Eternal Battlegrounds and had to realize after 15min, that it is going nowhere. No matter where we went, there was always a group of 30+ FS guys waiting. Other noticed that too and we "all" decided to jump on our server map, which was 100% controlled by FS and get it back. Figured FS wouldn't care too much about it and we were right. During the next hour, we took over half of the map back, including the orb. From +100 to +190 points <3

you cant interrupt animations so thats the lag you are experiencing... which really isnt lag

you mail everything to other ppl. mailing is stupid easy for this reason. right click and item and select "mail to." and everyone is low on money lol, Money is rare in this game. Imagine XI

The game does feel somewhat FFXI in that, money is tight and gear is rare due to /random drops and no TP, so it stays with you for longer then it's supposed to. Even though FFXI had the AH, keeping current gear was a chore because money was tight unless you farmed a lot. I'm up to 2.8 gold now, at lvl 40, so I'm thinking somewhere between 15-20 gold by the time I hit lvl 80, if the TP never comes up. Might get two pieces of culture gear, if so.
