Nah, I like WvW. Even if my server does nothing but complain about getting stomped at night. My opinion: man up or shut up.

I dunno how they can make WvW not about which server has the largest overnight crew though. We saw with Aion that setting PVP to specific times is terrible as well. I hate the current system though.

Free transfers do not need to stop, but the original prohibition on participating in WvW until the next match.

Holy shit at the TCxMaguuma alliance thread in the WvW section of the official forums. The amount of just amazing stupidity there is staggering.

I can't say I've had more fun in WvW with this match up because I generally just ragequit at the copious amounts of idiocy going on strategy-wise but having the option to actually go do stuff instead of having nothing to do because we own everything is better.

Maybe not 24/7, but certainly during peak hour play time. Haven't been in EB yet where we weren't the spot between a rock and a hard place with very little action between green and blue. EB Boarderlands is rocking right now as we've upgraded everything we own and pushing places but the other two we're pushed out and just gained back all of 'our' stuff in EB.

I actually don't care so much if coins actually dropped, so I could see some meaningful progress. That's the only real frustration.

I was in TC borderlands the other day and both red/green were simultaneously attacking the outer doors to our keep. After both outers fell, TC went to the front door and EB went to the back door. EB won the race so they got the keep. There was absolutely nothing we could do against both servers simultaneously hammering from both front and back.

Now I know there was no communication between the two servers, but regardless there are times when it feels like both servers are tag teaming your ass. This is just the nature of RvR. When one side notices that there is a massive battle going on between two servers, the third server is going to pick a side in which they're going to fuck in the ass. Sometimes it's you, sometimes it's not.

I'm in Ehrmy Bay borderlands and Maguuma and EB are both tag teaming green. EB attacking their keep and we're attacking their tower. I was in TC borderlands early and TC and EB were camping the supplies and tower outside our spawn. Are those alliances as well? Welcome to RvR. There are going to be times when you're gonna get hammered by both sides.

Hell, it happened in the last match up we had where it nearly seemed like TC (the guys we're currently losing against) and Dragonband were working together. I knew they weren't, but damn does it get annoying fighting off everybody sometimes. Eternal borderlands is especially bad for this because the access point to and from Umberglade is absolutely massive in comparison to Golanta or Rogue's. Klovan/Wildcreek are an absolute pain in the ass to take if defended, while Anzilias and Durios are major pains in the ass to defend. Anzil especially is so absolutely terrible to defend. Worst tower in EB. People know this so green will continually hammer on Anzil all day, every day. And really, once the zerg has taken that keep it's most likely going to keep going in that direction.

Red's just in a shitty position when it comes to eternal battlegrounds. We got tag teamed when we were red in that borderlands and you guys, from the sound of it, are too.

When are people going to learn that the way to Pangloss is from the inside, not out.

Get some Eles swiftness, protection and stealth, get them in the middle of their siege emplacements (dodge through all the crap first) and pop Tornado. Once the tornados start knocking people over, then bullrush.

But oh shit, that might require some form of coordination!

Mesmer and a thief or two is easiest way. There's plenty of ways in if you have coordination, but good luck with that.

True dat. TC was trebing one of our borderlands outer gate (DB?), and just sitting back, waiting for it to go down, while people danced with their arrow carts, on the top. I told them to get a group, stealth up, hit it, and rez/run back, but they were afraid of the big bad group. I then told them to build a couple of Trebs, inside that keep, and use them to take out any seige build sites that tried to be build. What did the do? Built two trebs OUTSIDE the keep, on the bridge, which promptly fell, once the outer gate went down.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't stop them from eating out of the outhouse.

That's really EB's problem in that, we have no real WvWvW guilds, but we do manage to out zerge/improvise most other servers, while the few of us who do have a clue set up defensible positions afterwards. All it takes though, is one or two guilds, with about 10-15 people each, and you can rip right through us.
