Again, if you're playing every day, especially doing 6 dungeon runs a day, you're playing more than most. I also try not to die, but just plinking away with a gun on warrior isn't offering much to the team. I also wanted to rage pretty hard at Graveling Stalkers tonight and their buggy hit-boxes for their pounce/gnaw.

Join BG guild or add me (Pachi.1569) and you can run with us if you're around when we run. We regularly need a fifth and run w/e dungeons people wanna do. AC and CoE spam mostly atm but we're always up for others.

There usual times you run? My play times vary a lot, but I guess the past few nights have been 10pm-2am EST for me.

More often than not around those times. We don't have a set time but before we'd often get started around the time dungeons reset (8pm EST), past few nights have been later (infact me and Shiyo just got done with some AC and CoE runs now, though we grabbed some randoms for that).

At least 3 guild people always, most times we have to pick up two randoms. As Shiyo said, 47 Silver guaranteed on each run. (There is always one champion that drops 5 silver, and the end boss in all 3 paths drops 16 silver, plus 26 Silver for completing run. You can boost this further with Omnomberry Bars, which gives +40% (?) more gold dropped from mobs, which nets you an extra 7ish silver and they only cost at most 2 silver per. This only applies to AC atm, I have yet to see this behavior from Champions/Legendaries in other dungeons.) Coupled with level 80 white, blue and green drops that you just npc you're banking close to if not over 2 Gold for all 3 AC runs. Again not taking into account occasional Rare drops. Plenty of Gold for very minimal playtime. Also assuming you're doing dailies every day, that's another 5s.

I think aion did crafting well. Was an easy money sink that meant something to cap and was profitable.

Only annoying part of Aion's crafting was essence gathering, I rarely had issue leveling it as I went along. Master recipes however...

I enjoyed afking for hours at a time to craft the 1200+ drenium ingots I needed for master armorsmithing recipes, personally. And then crafting those down into subcomponents. Oh hey, NQ! Better put in another movie!

The crafting system in this game feels a lot more like what I would expect to see from a grindy-for-a-singleplayer game with multiplayer features, which seems to be how a lot of people treat it anyways. I think it's very efficient and quick for what it's meant to do, and generally pretty worthwhile to do, without being the huge time/money sink OR accomplishment that it is in, say, FFXI.

So, what I gather is that dungeons = money and you guys run dungeons. I can farm anywhere between 30s to 1g, in 30 minutes, depending on rare drops, and maybe more if I'm in WvWvW and trading a lot of stuff, but the high end is really good day and the low end is more the norm. I haven't seen too many guild dungeons shouts, so I'll assume I'm just not available at the times as I'm West Coast representing.

Yeah, I'll wait until they have the bugs ironed out. Granted, I'd be surprised if the hackers somehow got a fresh email and 20+ character password, but in my incident of my D3 account getting compromised, I still think it was Blizz's end given eventual announcement of their servers getting compromised. Still think outright associating accounts with an email log-in is dumb.

Oh goddammit. How long since this game came out? the first thing I wanted to spend gems on was an extra bank tab, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I gave up on it.

...today I noticed a little lockpad on the bank menu. I clicked it. 600 gems for an extra tab. Sigh.

Yeah, only thing I've bought gems for so far was bank and bag slots. Will probably buy extra characters eventually if I ever feel inclined, but I generally can't feel like the chest loot is worth blowing money on keys, either.

we had by far the best WvW bracket (D2, place 4-6) this week. us Elona's Reach DE vs Arborstone FR and Augury Rock FR. until thursday, it was a battle in the double digit points between us and arbor. placing changed every tally and had some awesome encounters with them. they either gave up now or didn't want to move into D1, as we're now leading with ~30k. looking at the D1 ratings, the scandinavian army on Far Shiverpeaks should be an even opponent but Vizunah Square plays in its own league.

altho I gotta give it to them for being top-tier griefers who setup ballistas in the eternal jumppuzzle to make sure noone else can get it done

chest loot used to not be worth it, but now its 110% worth it. You can get anything consumable related from a chest. Including, for example, rez stones, black lion salvage kits (which each along are worth the price of keys).. and, for the very special person you can get super lucky and get account bound permanent traders, bank's, or merchants.

lots of lol'z have been had by me as I camp around the corner from the stairs leading up to the chest. I stay in a position where ppl going around the last bend alogn the side rail can't see me, but i can see ppl approach... then... right when they jump onto the stairs.. i use mesmer GS to knock em over the side and they die from the fall.

have made so many ppl mad and gotten so many hate tells, but its such good fun
