Ya'll bitches drama is weak sauce.
Ya'll bitches drama is weak sauce.
God forbid it takes them a few tries to get things right.
GW2 has absolutely no competition involved in it, it's hard to spawn drama when you literally never have to compete with anyone for claims or loot or... anything. Internal drama like someone stealing loot is usually small time shit too, because most MMOs don't have quite so stupidly hard to obtain shit or have better looting systems in place to prevent such a thing happening.
I would absolutely love to be able to see who the fuck I'm killing, or kills me, but wvw definitely doesn't suck.
Sure is a lot of "fuck" on this page.
Not much fucking though.
dayum shame
WVW is fun until a THF exists then I go afk because THF ruins PVP.
Way too much emo chick nonsense.
Well, I don't know of any game, who's leveling zones, meant a damn long term. Also, fractals are incredibly populare; just look at the gw2lfg.com page. I could do without the RNG stuff but I think there's something inherent that people like about it. There's also the need for a game to last long enough from patch to patch.
You seriously think cursed shore, a level80 zone, frostgorge, and lost shores are "leveling zones"?
Why would I consider lvl 80 zones leveling zones? Frostgorge isn't a full lvl 80 zone so it's kinda half/half, but you'll see far more people in those zones then anything below them, aside from starter zones.
Well it's clear Shiyo is on her period.
The problem with fractals is that its been out a month now and like with any new content people burn the shit out of it like its going to be taken away from them. Yes there is limited randomization, but how can you possibly expect every single time to be different? hey you know we'll just randomly throw bosses in from every dungeon? oh wait people will start bitching that its the same old content being recycled yeah? The bullshit RNG of acquiring items with infusion slots or agony resistance or the sheer expense of making them in the forge could have used alot of work, they see the error of that and are planning to make a change. But crying over spending 1800 tokens on a back piece, if your running the dungeon that often what else have you got to spend the tokens on? there is nothing else of value from that vendor (the exception of obsidian shards when your temple is never open).
Putting it in lions arch was a bit of an error, but where else could you logically put a portal to the mists?
There are generally friendly wvw matchup threads on gw2 sites, guru does it, official forums does it. Why does there need to be a flame thread? what does that achieve? you shit up the community and it ends up like the wow community forums and honestly i think most of the people that are playing gw2 do not want to see it going the way that wow did. The whole anonymity of the wvw scene is a good thing, you are not fighting for yourself, your fighting for your world why should you see the name of the thief that ganked you?.
No game out there today is as mind-destroyingly punishing in its effort-to-reward ratio anymore. No game out there today sets up as many roadblocks towards rewarding a player anymore. When people can actually obtain rewards at a decent clip from clearing content, and the drop systems aren't made for EQ1 masochist fans, then yeah, you're not gonna see that type of drama anymore. You're also not gonna see that type of drama because most games today aren't making systems so shitty in terms of drops that formerly-legitmate players have to bot and cheat the shit out of the content just to get extra shots at drops.
You make it sound like you wanna go back to games like that. Its still there for you if you do. Hell, EQ is still there if you want that kinda mess.
@Shiyo: Wow, baby, crack that whip on those Fractals. Tell em how naughty they've been!
Agreed.
