Keep offering more money until one takes the job.

Realistically, they will probably just hire some MAC Coach that had one good year and will suck in the Big Ten. I wouldn't mind getting the LA Tech coach (they are scoring over 50 points per game), but I wonder if Auburn is going to go after him.

People outside of FSU fans probably don't know who this is, but Major Billy Smith passed away on Saturday. He was the head of security for FSU football for 47 years and is probably best known as "that old FHP guy behind Coach Bowden". RIP Major Smith!

So I wonder how many rows of seats someone would need to sell for the SEC Championship game to buy out the ACC Championship game...

You would think a 6-6 Tech team would be a HUGE draw against Florida State.

As for UGA/Bama:

I'm not gonna talk a whole lot of trash (not that I'm in a real position to, tbh) until after the game. If we win, then awesome. If we lose, then it'll make yet another "so close" for UGA a bit more manageable. But I do feel really good about UGA's matchups against Bama (I like our receivers against Bama's secondary, and I like our run game to force Bama's D to play honest. I think if Gurshall can get some outside corners then we have ability to bust some big runs and let Murray's arm and our receivers take care of the rest) and I have a strong feeling about this teams determination to not quit. I just hope it's not a Blackout Blowout again.

I'm worried about our secondary. They have made a lot of mental mistakes, to be expected from a very young defense, but I hope they refocus now that they've lost. Sometimes losing a game can be the best thing for a team in the world, which is why I have always wanted a playoff. Encourage people to schedule harder games...play harder games = become better team. We will get better games in the end, in my opinion. I am excited to see what happens on Saturday. I won't be able to make it to the game this year though.

Alabama played 2 good teams this year. Lost one. Were trailing with a minute to go in the other, and should have lost it if SEC defenses were half what people say they are.

Georgia also played 2 good teams this year. Also lost one. Florida had to turnover 6 times to lose a 1 score game to them.

Neither of these teams are particularly good. Either one could have a good day and blow out the other, both could completely shit the bed and end up in another 9-6 joke.

The pathetic part is that any number of teams, Florida State, K-State, Oregon, Stanford, OU, all would be just as unpredictable matchups against either of those teams.... but because they have the letters SEC behind them, their game is a NCG playoff.
