Ron Dayne's 1999 Heisman Year - 303 carries for 1834 yards, 19 rushing TDs (1 catch for 9 yards), broke the NCAA career rushing yards mark.

Montee Ball's 2012 - 332 carries for 1729 yards, 21 rushing TDs (9 catches for 65 yards) - with the Rose Bowl remaining, broke the NCAA career rushing TDs and total TDs mark.

Both are in years with no clear-cut favorite, each contender has flaws (being a freshman, multiple losses, playing on defense, etc.) I think it's time for another career-recognition Heisman.

Darren Sproles 2003: 306 carries, 1986 yards, 25 receptions for 287 yards, 16 td rushing, 2 td receiving, 1 td return.

And K-State doesn't have multiple losses (yet).
