I don't know how, having seen this video, you could possibly overturn the original ruling on the field. Yes, a Wisconsin player touched it before it went 10 yards, but a Beaver player touched it first, so it didn't matter. They must not have seen this video in the replay booth is the only thing I can figure.

Although it also looks like a Beaver player recovered it. Must have changed hands in the pile.

Purdue QB Marve has potential ACL tear.

From the looks of it, I'm guessing it was a partial and not full tear because he walked off the field. It seems like the full tears have to pretty much be carried off. It still doesn't look good for him coming back.

I have to say that assuming it was at least a partial tear, Purdue has 2 players on the current roster that have torn an ACL 3 (yes three) times. (and a starting RB and QB at that)

The doctor that they keep sending the athletes to has done many of the surgeries and is some big donor to the athletic dept. I've never seen a school (in both football and basketball) lose key player after key player to repeat ACL tears.
