I wanna play Oregon. I think that'd be a fun game to watch. There is a reason that Auburn and Florida both abandoned the spread option. Too much perimeter speed and great gang tackling make it really tough to run without freakish athletes that don't come along often.

Mettenberger will have a bad game or two in the SEC stretch. Alabama is more than beatable, just have to have someone willing to not shirk away from playing them hard.

Tennessee or Mizzou might even give Bama some fits. If Bama gets flustered enough they might just end up dropping one, and then theres Atlanta.

On top of that, if they do emerge as a 1 loss SEC champ its still likely one will get in...but certainly not both. Arkansas isn't a quality win anymore.

Why is it lol? God awful Tennessee almost nipped ya'll in 2009. They are much improved now, an upset isn't outside the possibility especially in a rivalry game like that. Arkansas was hanging around for a while and didn't score due to failing. Mettenberger has been awesome against who? He has yet to play meaningful snaps against an SEC schedule, he's bound to fuck up at some point.

I'm not doubting that Bama is the likely SEC winner. But theres still a LOT of football left and no team has really shown they are unbeatable yet.

I honestly don't see more than 1 or 2 undefeated teams this year. Seems like it's gonna be really close. Texas up 59-31 right now on Ololol Miss. Good for them I guess.

@Kirin: Championship teams are often tested hardcore by mediocre teams to really test their grit and all that. It shouldn't have been close like that, but it was and they went on to do what they did (over a McCoyless Texas, but w/e)

I don't see Tennessee, especially after giving up 37 to Florida tonight.. as a huge threat to Bama, honestly. Mizzou either. They got worn down against UGA hardcore int he second half, and I'm pretty sure UGA's depth isn't close to what Alabama's got. At least right now.
