UGA eeks by Kentucky, unable to stop the run early hurt bad. Murray was on fire though, 30/38 for 400+ yards. If we can get our offense clicking like that against Florida and play as good a D as Carolina did without turnovers I like our chances against Florida.

Pretty much this. Remember the year they finished on a hot streak heading into bowl season and everyone argued they could have been in the big game.. then they were preseason #1 or whatever the next year, only to flop? lol, every year. I feel bad for UGA fans.

you'd think we'd move ahead of an Oregon team whose most impressive wins are 2 home wins against Arizona and Washington teams that are a combined .500...


since we didn't, we're straight up fucked unless they lose. Our toughest games, which have been flat out 2 of the most impressive performances of the year by anyone, are behind us. We're "expected" to win out at this point.

Oregon still gets Stanford and USC games that will inflate their standing if they win despite being vastly inferior to the competition KSU is up against even now that "our tough ones are behind us."

Sadly, all of this would be a moot point if Kansas State hadn't pulled out a 2011-2012 scheduled home and home series with Oregon. That would have been a heck of a game, and left little doubt who was the better team. I understand why they chose to do it, with the Big 12 instituting a 9-game round robin and all, but oh what could have been.
