they mention what kind of budget they're dealing with yet? Nolan + Bale seems pretty expensive for Konami.
What the fuck did I just watch...
I agree but Bale doesn't seem like a good fit for Snake to me. I just think Bale is a bit too intense to translate the rather slight facets of Snake's character without it being a bit jarring. It's kind of hard to put into words.
I thought of Hugh Jackman because, really, Wolverine and Snake are extremely similar characters and when the script and/or director weren't garbage I think most people loved him in that role.
Also, idk if it's just me, but Bale has always seemed to have some kind of odd....I don't wanna say speech impediment because he can obviously speak just fine, but something is just kinda off with his speech sometimes. I don't think it's from the forced accent either as I've noticed it when he's played British characters as well.
It's a video game movie so I'm automatically worried about what the result will be.
Resident Evil is waving at me from through my window.
There is a far more important issue.
Who shall play Revolver Ocelot?
That's actually a good question. I'm more fond of Ocelot than Snake and if they manage to cast failure in his role I don't know if I'll be able to enjoy the movie... unless of course they go with another story...
Ocelot is the only person to be in every game, well except Peace Walker. It would be an injustice to not have him.
Daniel Day Lewis? Sam Elliot...to old now saldy.
Gary Oldman
Cillian Murphy as Otacon!
But honestly although Oldman did stand out at first as a great actor to play for the story role. Ocelot is a solider and a somewhat tall menacing one at that. At Oldman's age I can't see him running around shooting bitches.
I think im going to play MSG1
Michael Caine as Major Zero.
I get the feeling he wouldn't be able to pull of being 54 years old.
God, just bring the dark knight cast in here, we all know that movie used the majority of actors we'd want to see in this movie.
Let's revive Heath Ledger and have him play Raiden.
Jensen Ackles as Solid Snake and Jared Padalecki as Liquid Snake.
