Looks like the trailer got taken down already. Fuckers.

still works at kotaku
heres
Such a blatant copy from FFVII, lap it up FF fanboys.
Definitely interested, will be interesting to see how much the game changes in the next year considering they had very little to show of it at the announcement a year ago.
I liked Lightning going down the pole like a stripper. Was there anything else I was supposed to keep an eye out for? Because that's all I took away from this trailer.
Speaking of glasses, lightning wearing sunglasses made me laugh a little.
Liking the new paradigm-y system, seems interesting and a lot more speedy, sort of like what the FFXIII-2 DLC with lightning needed considering how much you had to swap into defensive modes for brief periods.
Okay first trailer. More prepared for the 2nd now.
And I swear that looks like a near finished Alpha to Beta build. The buildings in the fight areas looked like ass.
meh still gonna buy it day 1
TRAILERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Show me any game after 5-6 months of development and let's see how good they look.
Yes, the performance and quality of the environments are affected by the phase the game is in. These are things you iron out towards the end of development, first you need something up and running to build the game.
Why the hell did they even make the trailer when everything looks so low quality. They have a lot of work to do to make that game even look palatable. I guess they did the same thing with a few of the FFXIV ARR videos so maybe we'll see it develop into a more high quality game.
The battle system also looks iffy, I'll have to see more of it and what other features they add to spice things up. All in all, the trailer was terrible, the plot and overall design seems interesting. I'll probably buy it day one regardless of whether or not it's actually good since i'm just a gigantic mindless FF fanboy.
So now you're saying they won't iron out the performance problems evident in a trailer using pre-production assets?
