For those of you that can't read moon: Lightning Returns sold 277,082 units in the first week of Japanese launch.
Previous entries:
Final Fantasy XIII - 1,501,964
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - 524,217
Man read the spoilers about the ending. Really sounds retarded. Will most likely pick this up later down the road because at least the gameplay looks a little fun, but not worth it at full price.
its pretty fun. i tried the japanese demo.. found myself making the annoying mistake of spamming buttons when the gauge is empty..
but i can see how the system would work.
its really more of a skill game due to the nature of the battles. if you know what you're doing its not hard to knockout the enemies.
I haven't really come across it in videos or articles I've seen, and after playing the JP demo I still don't know. Is there a character progression (like a form of exp) in LR? Or is it just about getting new gear for styles and such?
That's the gist of it. The good stuff comes from finishing the main quests.
lighty gaga
Finished 2 of the main story quests so far. I actually like this battle system more than the others.
So jealous of those who can read JP. This wait is killing me
theres definitely more.. I heard a vocal version of Eternal Wind while watching a live stream..
also funny how the names of the NPCs playing the FF6 theme is Biggs and Wedge

Too bad it doesn't seem like you get the Cloud DLC outfit
Online Store exclusive :/ Waiting for the EU announcement (if there is one).
You do, I just preordered mine from the shop.
Also, GDI SE for making it $100 or more for free shipping on their shop. I needed another $10.01 to qualify with this for free shipping so I just grabbed FFVIII for Steam. I suppose I can somewhat rationalize that it only cost me a few bucks once I take out the shipping I would have paid.
