Gameplay & Features (in English)

Square Enix today released the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Guided Tour video. The video allows viewers to journey into the world of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy and take a deep dive into the game’s core gameplay elements. Featuring never-before released footage, viewers are acquainted with the game’s premise, the four primary areas to discover, and the numerous gameplay innovations – from the rebuilt battle system to the time-driven quests, to the open-world exploration and the unique social networking features.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems and for digital download on the PlayStation Network for $59.99 on February 11, 2014. The collector’s edition will be available in limited quantities for both platforms and will be sold exclusively at the Square Enix Online Store Store for $89.99.

Yuna’s FFX-2, Aerith & Cloud costumes now available as Lightning Returns DLC

In the US. EU always gets different kind of deals anyway so it being SE Store exclusive for the US means absolutely nothing at all. Chances are it wouldn't be exclusive if EU got one because the shop covers like 4-5 countries here.

Was the FFXIV ARR CE's in Europe in store or online only through SE? It seems they are making a transition of releasing only CE's on there store at least for NA. Also Rata is French Canadian, even the US doesn't want Quebec unless it's got oil.

That CE was available everywhere in EU. We haven't seen any SE store exclusive versions yet because only a few countries have it and they don't even ship outside of their own country (French store only ships to France, etc.)

The $26.99 shipping for next day is what is preventing me from buying the CE on the website. I'm taking some much needed time off during early Feb. and I can't justify spending $118~ or so with a huge part of that being the shipping. I'm just going to buy the standard and get two-day through amazon for pennies.

This may not interest some people, but I ordered the LR: FF13 CE and X/X-2 Remaster CE on the same order so it gave me free shipping for both (5-7 days obviously but that doesn't bother me with school coming up and it usually is much faster than 5-7)

Demo is out for NA on PS3 and X360. I can safely say it's mindlessly boring, dull and overall a bad game based on the demo alone. Hooray!
