For my first I got my precursor from the forge before I started anything. The second I actually got another dusk which is what made me decide to go and make another legendary. I built all the gifts and than tried to go for the precursor via forge with no luck sadly. I ended up buying my Dawn to make sunrise. Fortunately we've had some great farming available to us with the Living story/champ updates.

Though so. I'm trying to do my dungeon runs (CoF 1/2 and SE 1/3) as well as invasions whenever I can for money. I keep seeing the price for mine go up and down so I'm kind of hoping it crashes a bit lower soon.

Though at the same time I'm wondering if I should hold off on my preq since they said they were thinking of adding new legendaries IIRC.

Prices won't likely drop until the invasions end, and if the new updates don't have as accessible farming options. However, it's a great time to invest in buying stuff to dump into the forge. People are getting loot faster than they can normally process it, which means there's lots of stuff where the prices are going far lower than usual.

They are supposed to this year and also a means of building a precursor not via the MF. You may want to wait for that depending how patient you are.

True. Main reason I want to wait is in case the new hammer looks better. If it's anything like Genesis... holy hell I'd love it.

Then again, I'm nearing completion on my Engineer and I don't really see the point in a pistol/rifle...

Engineers get the shaft on legendarys, as cool as Predator is. They should do something to their kits.

It's a tough one. I do love Grenades, but I do wish they'd make pistols/rifles more viable.

Trying to get a good balance, truth is I'm kinda burned out in GW2 because of the Scarlet Invasion. Yes it can be fun but with zergs champions take forever to take down.

Sure I'll get back into it full swing when SAB is back and Scarlet is gone this Tuesday. I'll go back to my normal route of doing CoF 1/2 and SE 1/3 for money and maybe a few meta bosses to farm.

So I pushed to get to 10k achievement points to get the 1% extra karma before chugging my stockpile of jugs and whatnots. I made it and I'm a bit past there now, and I randomly checked the leaderboards and find myself in the top 1000 of NA. Not an accomplishment I'll hold onto for long, I think I'll go outside and get some sun...

Finally finished doing my AC runs I needed for 500 tokens today, so I was able to finish crafting my Sunrise! Took me a good 7-8 months, taking breaks along the way. I don't know whether or not I want to play other games like FFXIV now, or set myself another long-term goal on GW2, but finally finishing my Sunrise felt really good either way.

You find a different place to ask that question so you don't get trolled so hard. Until you find that (try reddit), leveling up crafts for ascended weapons would be a good place to start. Also a good time to hit up fractals for some easy rings, place is booming right now from latest LS update. Not sure if you'd have to do the associated storymode beforehand as a first-timer, but that's fun enough to do anyway.
