So much friggin want.
EDIT: I really hope Apollo is in this. Would suck to see him get the shaft.

So delicious.
So many people dogged that Apollo Justice game. I really liked it along with the Miles Edgeworth game. But what's weirder to me is that just as strong as the extreme hate for Apollo (back when that game out) is the extreme 'What about Apollo?' movement.
The internet is weird.
Resolution of the trailer makes me wonder if they have a Vita/iOS port planned for post-3DS release.
I loved the game, and liked Apollo as a character, but he just wasn't Phoenix and when it comes down to it, I'd rather play as Phoenix than Apollo.
Loved the Edgeworth games and loved him as a main character, was so pissed when we didn't get AAI2.
I would like to see Apollo in this game though, just not as the main character
Couldn't stand Apollo, but it had less to do with him (and his stupid hair) and more about the fact that he wasn't Phoenix. After Trials and Tribulations, Phoenix shot through the roof of god tier (the goddamn coffee drinking scene is the most epic brofist I've ever witnessed). There was no way I was going to take him getting replaced with some goofy upstart kid lightly.
I liked Apollo on the strength of the arc he experiences through the game. He's no replacement for Phoenix but Ace Attorney told a great story.
I share on the hate of Apollo Justice, but I think I'm much more relaxed to that game (and the characters) now that Wright is back. Viewing the game through a, "It's just another epic chapter in the history of Phoenix Wright" lens, the game actually isn't all that terrible.
(excusing the ridiculousness of the story.)
The trailer looks fucking a-may-zing, especially for the 3DS.
Any hate for Apollo is only there because he isn't Phoenix. The games plot was just as amazing as the others, but every time you see bum-phoenix in the game, you're reminded how you're not playing as some one as awesome as he is.
The 'gameplay' bits weren't rendered on a 3DS in the trailer, that's why it's looking so god damn sharp.
The game isn't graphically demanding either way though. Just upwards of 4-5 character models and what I assume will still be mostly static camera shots. Gives tons of room to cram in polygons/texture detail.
Apollo got overshadowed in his own game.
Spoiler: show
3DS screen does 400x240 in 2-D mode (800x240 for 3D, which is two 400x240 frames side-by-side, one per eye).
In the trailer under 720p, everything is too pristine. It'd be a tad fuzzy or show signs of aliasing if it was a 400x240 image blown up.
Spoiler: show
Spoilered for potential table breaking.
What's being shown can be done on a 3DS at its native resolution, just not at that level of clarity/smoothness.
Whole lotta "I've seen a lot of photoshops before, so I can tell" up in this thread.

Ace Attorney 5 voice acting limited to 'those iconic key phrases'
The information from a Japanese interview, stating that Ace Attorney 5 would use full voice acting, was a mistranslation, or the message got garbled along the way somehow. Capcom community manager Brett Elston corrected the information in a tweet this week, shouting "Hold it!" before opening the Twitter post window (we imagine).
"Not the case," Elston. "Just those iconic key phrases!" The original interview, then, suggests that those clips will be re-recorded for the 3DS's improved audio capabilities.
Don't re-record them too much. Sometimes the best clips are the original ones.
Who's Apollo? All I remember is Klavier. <3 <3
I hope that that whole cast at least makes a cameo! And I hope Miles shows up and it'll be epic.
