Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies

Since last year's Tokyo Game Show, we've had little to no information on Capcom's upcoming 3DS game, Ace Attorney 5. To say the wait has been painful is an understatement; I often cry into my pillow due to the lack of news.

That being said, it looks like this week Famitsu is finally going to lift the curtain on the new adventures of Phoenix Wright.

For now, we only have an image leak to go on, but boy is it tasty. Apollo Justice, Ace Attorney 4's main character, will be part of AA5's cast. We know nothing about his role, but we do have a good look at his new design.

Damn, Apollo. You look ready to kick some ass. My theory? He gets caught up in the explosion that kicks AA5 off, burning him and messing up his eye. That, or it's some kind of crazy fashion statement.

Lot of interesting things in the vid. One of the biggest things I noticed was Apollo himself.

No bandages and him as an actual DA.... Makes me wonder if there's any truth in the whole Apollo being injured by the bombing rumor.

Would be interesting if you get to play as him at one point before the events of the bombings that take place in AA5. Sorta like how you got to play as Mia in the 1st and 4th cases in AA3.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 5 hits west as Dual Destinies this autumn

Ace Attorney 5 is scheduled to appear in North America and Europe this autumn, now under the new legal name of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies. Capcom says it's releasing the 3DS game in the west digitally (on the eShop).

phoenix started at age 24, his games ended at age 26, 7 years later apollo justice started, he was 32 then. The new game, i believe start a year after the AJ cases, so nigga's 33.

I agree, I mean it saves them money marketing it, as well as manufacturing costs, but still. It's like they almost want it to flop so they'll never have to put out another one. I'm still miffed about not getting Ace Attorney Investigations 2.
