I agree with this. Well, except for the Flashforward part. But it was good enough to keep watching, at least for the time being.

I had a few minor complaints about this show, but it definitely could be interesting.

I'm mostly just worried about it becoming a teenage drama/romance like a few other shows in this "genre" seemed to do. Totally ruined Terra Nova and whatever that alien one was for me. If it can stay away from that and the eventual blackout explanation is good, I'll enjoy it greatly.

This show struck me as it could certainly be the next Terra Nova, but it's got two things going for it that Terra Nova didn't: 1) No helpless little kids to constantly be put in harm's way to drive the plot and 2) Gustavo Fring. Of course, if they get back to the village full of little kids next episode and Gus dies in episode 3, those could change. The nerdy, whiny sidekick is a little more annoying than comic relief right now, though, he could get on my nerves.

I can't imagine Charlie's mom is really dead, just because I don't think they'd bring Elizabeth Mitchell into a series (including her name in the credits) if she doesn't get involved in more than just flashbacks. She clearly knew something in the original scene, I imagine she went into hiding because of Monroe's men; I kind of wonder if she is actually what he is searching for.

Just stating facts dood. It's pulling some pages right out of the Jericho book. And doing it in a much more shittily written way. I'll give it a chance though, but I'm not expecting it to improve much.
