I still think that this is too far. State money for an inmate's gender reassignment surgery? Nah bro. I agree with whoever said its like giving all the fat people in prison gastric bypasses.

However I will say that if she were able to obtain the money to pay for it herself, she should have the full cooperation of the prison system during that process.

Perhaps she could have Kickstarter'd her vaginoplasty? But using tax money? Nah. Not unless it is physically life threatening.
