Isn't that exactly what happened in the anime? It was off screen, but it still happened.

It just looked like one guild to me, I actually thought they were NPC's.

Doesn't change the fact that it should have been animated, it sounds more epic than anything else that has happened. :/

I can actually see them NOT animating a Santa Claus fight just to avoid the whole outcry of some studio portraying a happy holiday in such a negative light by implying Santa would try to kill people.

That would have been a good thing to see. The way that they had Kirito wiping the floor with half the shit in the game made it look like the Rogue Santa encounter was another breeze of a fight. Also, I bet that he was kicking himself in the ass after Asuna got offed when he remembered giving Klein that raise item.

It got used right after. You can see it in an omake. Basically kirito had almost no hp after using all his items post boss battle and didnt watch where he was going. A random yeti attacks and Klein has to waste the item on Kirito.

It was a pretty large amount of floors between then and the finale. We'd have to presume Klein's guild kicks so much ass that they didn't have a single death in front of him the entire way despite not having the title of best guild.
