    The guy wanting to marry her explained that his company took over the SAO servers once Argus or whatever company went bankrupt. I would imagine with enough documentation and tinkering, not only could he have prevented her from actually logging out, but also transferred her to another game/server. I'd also suspect this would allow him to muddle her memories, but since I haven't read up on the LN and the next episode hasn't aired, I dunno how much of her is actually intact.

    If it makes it any easier, just think of the brain as an organic computer that this tech is capable of manipulating as if your personality/memories were software. Since it was mentioned there 300 others still in a coma, I'd bet he couldn't isolate just her info and probably just wound up transferring a chunk of other users to the new game.

    Can someone explain the ep 16 to me?

    What exactly carried over from SAO to the new game? He had to toss all his items and it's a skill not level based game, so what exactly did he keep aside from Yui?

    gil, but the rest of his inventory beside yui is more or less error'd item that would've flagged him in the game as hacker

    he also kept all his high level weapon skills

    He kept his skills from it.
    closest example I could make would be; you play ff11 and have fishing skill 60 and sword skill 300.
    you start ff14 on a brand new character, but it starts off with 60 fishing skill and 300sword skill

    I love over powered shit, they need to show more of him being a complete bad ass.

    My guess is there will be someone who will put him in place in the next ep or so, or a GM will reset his stats. lul.

    I'm actually really ok with how they did this.

    I like how they drastically changed the episode direction from overly dramatic to humorous.

    It's still time to completely disregard the plot, but the actual entertainment value of the series could go way up.
