I haven't enjoyed an anime this much in several years. I hope they decide to make more eps of this in the future.

It's basically the best performing series at the moment (outside of Shonen Jump manga, don't worry, One Piece is still king).
It's on the top of the Blu-Ray and Light Novel charts (well, for single volumes, something called Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou has the top three spots for the year, but in overall sales SAO has taken it.)
For all the hate some of the board is giving it, it is definitely going to get GGO and Alicization arcs animated.
I really dont mind the anime at all; I just wish there was more fighting and MMO type dynamics (talk of stats, etc).
I'm going to be fucking surprised if the PSP game gets a western release. -.-
Hopefully this will get to Gun Gale Online. Shit is legit.
With how good its doing both in manga sales and anime, I wouldn't be surprised if a 2nd season does the gun part and.. the last part... uhh haven't read it yeah just skimmed over it. Been so busy past 2 weeks with university work qq, only time I get to read is while at work haha
I'm actually ok with how they resolved the love crisis in this episode, but then they go right back to deus ex machina with the raid.
Sucks to be that Recon dude too. Fucked up his character's stats for no reason at all.
Dude went SSJ DBZ Choazo(w/e his name was that tried to blow up Nappa.)
Good episode. That ending = FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU another week -_________________-;
Felt a bit short-changed on the actual raid. Kirito's fail from the prior episode was just plain better action-wise.
Those linkshell leaders should be fired. They didn't even keep fighting after one guy gets through. I suppose I get the idea of retreating to hammer out a better strat but from what we could see in the video they just outright gave up for no goddamn reason on a fight they were prepared to lose at for at least several weeks without even getting to the second floor. They should have kept that fighting up at minimum so that they could follow Kirito upstairs to see what happens to him in any subsequent fights.
Poor Recon died like a Chaotzu. At least there's solace in the fact that the game might be another SAO financial bust after people find out the crap being experimented on in there. He wont have to worry about his reduced stats after the server gets shut down.
Spoiler: show
Yes it is. Only indirectly.
And the stat reduction thing is just basically deleveling. It's not a permanent thing.
Was like FFXI ninja. Shit gets cray, Ninja sacrifices himself, still doesn't save the day. Then the whm uses benediction on top of his corpse.
it's one of those bullshit lore they added in to make it seem like dying in mmorpg actually meant something
when all is said and done, i'd imagine most of you have seen more emotional dynamis pulls
You know, I always wondered about that. They keep saying "OMG THE PENALTY" but never mention what that actually is.
In the context of that first guy who said something like "I'd rather not die, my magic skill is almost 900" I'm guessing the death penalty either losing all progress towards your next skill level or losing skill levels in general.
Shit Online Ep 23
The fight sure looked nice but I don't give a crap about any of these characters or what they're doing so it all just fell flat for me.
Shit Online Ep24
This episode is really badly written, and it's actually pretty offensive in terms of how crass it is. Total otaku fodder. It's also pretty illogical, and everyone in the show just seems to kinda accept things as they come, without any real sense of weight in the worldview or structure of the characters and organizations. It's also pretty dumb that the show wants to have kinda-maybe-sorta serious plot elements which the viewer is supposed to take seriously, I’d likely find this arc far more interesting and enjoyable if it was purely focused on Kirito's attempts to rescue Asuna with a character build up of the villain's motivation, rather than a painfully unnecessary prevalence of inconsequential diversions.
You know the bad guy is evil when he strips Asuna and starts having his way with her(FUCK YOU A-1 PICTURES).
