These fights were absolutely fucking awful but I can't help but enjoy the crummy plot now it's back to feeling like an actual MMO. Hope next arcs action isn't complete ass again.

They said in these episodes you literally can't fly in Jotunw/e, hence no other players finding the dungeon or Excalibur.

I don't think they mentioned this in the anime but afair the fly limitation was removed in an update, but as mentioned they can't fly in that specific area

You can't fly in underground areas, iirc. Was established way back in season 1 when they went 'through' the mountain and had to deal with that tank|mage|healer squad. It was the games way of zoning areas off since you couldn't fly over the mountain.
