Fuck RT, lol, I just saw this today and it was an incredibly fun movie. Certainly not deserving of the shit RT score. I was a bit nervous seeing it cause RT and I tend to agree more or less, but this time it was just so far off! I'll def. watch again!

For 3D, I'd say no, probably not worth it. But then, I generally dislike 3D.

Anyway, I had fun with this. It reminded me a lot of Van Helsing. The weapons etc don't make sense (YOU CAN'T HAVE A CROSSBOW BE A MACHINE GUN DAMMIT) but once you set the silliness aside and just enjoy it for what it is its really fun. I thought it was more amusing than Van Helsing, tbh.

The story was easily predictable, but again, who cares? it's a fun movie.

Glad to see other people are also finding this movie fun - nobody I know wants to see it due to bad reviews.

Did anybody else see this in 3D and have the new GI Joe trailer at the start? I don't know if it was my eyes adjusting to the 3D effect, but the Gi Joe 3D effects seemed so IN YOUR FACE 3D that I could barely keep track of what was going on. Also, I felt a little bit like I was watching a Mortal Kombat trailer or something, especially when that black-and-yellow suit guy appeared.

I saw it in 3D, but I didn't pay any attention to that trailer.

I also don't think the 3D was worth it at all. The opening credits were nice, but I don't have anything to compare to - and also, not worth it for those alone. Would much rather have seen it in 2D, but they didn't show it during the times I could go. (Sneaky, by the way - at my local theater, all their matinee showings are in 3D, all their 2Ds are during the evening hours. Urgh.)

My company did the conversion for Hansel and Gretel, we also did the conversion for Avengers and Titanic. Trailers are purposely exaggerated because in some of the shots they are only really seen for half a second. We did this exact thing for the Avengers trailer and actual film itself is a lot more tame. Plus all the complaints about movies are bring shallow, that's all the fault of the Directors because that is exactly what they want.
