Just wait until Goldbeard Ceadeus. Since everyone and their dogs are wearing Dios armor with -20 Water Res they will get 1 shot'd with a Rage'd water blast.

In the single player I did every quest on the 1-5 star lvls but I cant seem to open up any more. Anyone know what I'm missing or why they wont offer me any new ones?

Check the Elder's son, see if he has a villager request for you to do. Maybe for the Ancient Mask?

I am used to fanfare when you level/rank up.... does it just happen in this game with no real notification or is there something i need to do?

Theres no leveling up, just better gear.

Books of combos, buy and keep on self or buy and keep in house locker? Do you have to carry it for the effect to be there.

They count for whatever inventory they're in. So if you leave them in your box, you combine in your box and its 100% (If you have all five). But it won't extend to your bag unless you actually carry them around in it.

Not rust shards. I'm aware those are made into weapons.

Just hit HR3 and I have no idea what to aim for. Using a Ravager's Balde that needs Gracium to upgrade, but I guess Ill have to wait until I get HR4 for that. Guess Ill gather some more mats, try some new mobs to see what kinda armor becomes available. Using Volvidon and Wroggi sets atm.

Nah Gracium you can get in the Tundra area at Rank 3.

You need to play Online or Offline port if you wanna get to us anyway, to upgrade HR ranks, but most of us are doing 1-2-3 so it doesn't mather to spam lower ranks to help

Ughhh lol is there actually Maintenance going on now? We all just got kicked offline and got an error message saying maint lol... God damn it, my birthday of all days. Planned for Monsters and booze and chocolate.

Luckily it booted me right after I finished a hunt. Does anyone know how long the maint. is? I can't find any news boards or anything listing when they are, or how long they are. Happy to finally get to HR3 though. Not sure if it's worth farming on HR3 stuff except a few new targets.
