Anyone know where I can find a good deal on this game? I don't want to invest $60 if I'm not sure I'm going to like it. If I do like it, I'm going to have to buy the 3DS version, a circle pad thing, and a Wii U Classic Controller. I'd like to save as much money as I can lol

There is a demo on the wii u or 3ds to try it out. It kind of throws you out in the deep end. I know there was a deal to pre order 3ds + wii u version but not sure if that was only for pre order or not.

I love being the room leader for this reason. I delight in kicking people for even the slightest transgressions.

I especially love kicking annoying people. If I go on a run and someone is obnoxious or a jerk, the moment we get back to the tavern they get the boot.

oh man i just got bomadier for chacha and kaya, i used that with my dios DS , and these monsters in moga die so fast now its great, explosions everywhere!

So, total noob question, but does anyone have a good beginner's resource? I've been reading http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/, but I've not been able to figure out specifics. For example, I need to craft bone armor, but I'm not sure if I'm even able to collect the basic materials for it or not given that I'm still on rank 2 missions.

A lot of the stuff for MH3U is not translated yet, however on that same wiki there is MH Tri, which has quite a bit of the same stuff as this one, MH3U just has more. So you could also try looking at the MH Tri area for some of that info your looking for. Some of the info is the exact same, some has changed, bone armor is probably the same tho. > here

I think the biggest issue I am having is gathering resources to upgrade weapons and armor. I haven't been able to upgrade anything yet and feel like I'm missing a big part of the game. I just unlocked the 3 star quests, so perhaps I just need to keep farming, but I'm never sure of where to get the items I need, but I think going by the tri guide is a good first step.
