Yeah, lance has a shield bash after their guarded hop. And yeah, the switch axe misunderstanding is probably just from the stamina phial

I don't think so, I mean stamina Phial is blue colored I believe. The animation that showed up to me was the same one I've seen while bashing something with a shield in Tri. I'd also only be able to proc it while hitting a monster in the face. Its definitely the Wild Axe/Duramboros switch axes that can proc it, apparently can count as blunt weapons, but KO isn't an active skill when you use them. (Grayed out, etc). Disappointing, KO on SA would be fun.

Nice, I am waiting until I can activate Lucky Cat to hunt him. Question Samalis, which are you fighting? High Rank or G-Rank? Seems like a 1-% difference, so I was wondering if the HR wouldn't be faster. Which did you do?

I did HR for my first sapphire and then hopped online to pug HR version my last one with a group of 4.

Just capped my first solo HR I.Lagi. Nothing. Yay! I don't have him offline yet, waiting for the Argosy Captain to come back so I can unlock the second part of the 9 Stars, do the last four Keys and unlock the I.Lagi Urgent. I will probably farm him there then.

Oh and I will be around tonight to farm whatever the hell anyone feels like! Anyone down for some Joe farms? G Rank Narga anyone? I have been using my Brachy Switch Axe since getting Purple Sharpness on it. So nice. Need that elusive G-Rank Brachy Pallium to complete the final upgrade. No hurry there. I wouldn't mind the Brachy Horn either.

Haven't fought G rank Jho yet but I'd like to make lesbian pirate armor at some point. Isn't today the day they release new event quests and stuff too? Any idea what new stuff we're getting?

Oh I still plan on using Horns a lot. Just been cutting a lot of tails it seems... and it is the highest damage weapon I have. I just have to upgrade some of my Horns to make them worth using over it. Need a few items from low rank Barioth and I think I can pull off 2-3 levels of upgrade on his Horn. Need Joe X and Narga X stuff for my KO, Handicraft set too... then I am going to be bashing faces all over with the Horn. Narga pieces will help with a Maestro set too. I have... I have plans. Horn is too goddamn fun to leave behind.

Then there are my dreams of my Bow sets...

Just got a Sapphire on my 2nd Lagi from tail carve. Hope I get another from the capture =P

Answered my own question with research. Only new quest we're getting is a Dios arena for pinnacle coins. NEXT week though we're getting the good shit.

Dual Baleful Gigginox. This quest gives you tickets used to make a new hunting horn and a new long sword. HR3 required.

And...G rank Jhen! HR8 required.

I start around 6 or so and we almost always just have 3 of us in the room so...hit me up when you're on, lol. Generally we make a "BG" room in 3, 10, BG, with a password of BG.

Yay! Screw Ivory Lagi and his dumb Sapphire (and the Darkgem and Seal I needed still). I decided to take a shot at soloing G-Rank Narga instead. One kill and one capture later (and a very fine Hvy NargaFang x2 steal via Cha-Cha's Melynx mask, thanks to Ro mentioning it was good to use) and I have gemmed out the dumb Dull Blade skill with his Mail X.

I also realized that the mixed Helios Z and X set required at least 1 slot on my weapon and a few that I have been using have none yet. So Narga it was.

All in all it is a difference of 4 DEF
